Error is attached.ĭoesn't happen every time I plug the cable in. It can take many attempts of reconnecting/restarting/uninstalling drivers before it finally works.įinally, while this is happening I get WHEA logger warnings in Event viewer every second. If I manage to open the properties of the controllers in time, one of them will usually say no drivers are installed (but in the drivers tab there is a driver) and after the 5 seconds, code 45 error reconnect etc.

Within 5 seconds "something disconnected sound" plays and these 2 disappear from device manager.

I mainly use an Ethernet adapter with the USB C port so when I plug it in, I get the "Something plugged in sound" and Realtek USB GbE Family controller and Intel USB 3.1 eXtensible Host Controller appear in device manager.
